Background
I studied Applied Physics at the University of Twente. In 1996 I started designing optics for LED traffic signals, at a time when white LEDs barely existed, and I have worked with LEDs and optics ever since.
I have done this at different scales: optics and LED development at Lumileds, platform architecture at Philips Lighting, and ten years running my own company, Invisua. Since 2023 I work as an independent consultant through Keuper Innovations.
